Biscuits!! I’ve been making these biscuits for a few weeks now and wanted to share it with you guys. It’s super moist and doesn’t have the eggy taste. If you add old bay and cheddar to it, it taste like the biscuits from red lobster!Recipe…1 and ½ Cups Almond Flour. ¼ teaspoon salt. ½ teaspoon salt. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 2 large eggs. ¼ cup sour cream. 4 tablespoons melted butter.Directions…Preheat oven to 400 F. Mix all dry ingredients. Mix all wet ingredients. Combine. Bake 10-12 minutes.Helpful hint, bake these in mini loaf pans so they keep their shape. My pan from Wilton’s has 8 sections so I divide it evenly and each biscuit has 2.8 net carbs, 19 grams of fat, and 6.2 grams of protein. from KETO http://bit.ly/2vinczB via IFTTT

Image
i have 2 dozen eggs that need to be used soon, preferably baked I’m a sweets gal, and I recently received 3 dozen farm fresh eggs from a coworker, not realizing that they need to be consumed within 2 weeks. I’m able to do a dozen by breakfast eggs, but I want to figure out ways to use most of the other two dozen, or at the very least, one dozen, in preferably, a baked good(s).Any recipes that use a lot of eggs per recipe?eta: I also received a regular-sized “personal” watermelon in a produce delivery box that I wouldn’t mind using in some sort of recipe, as well. from KETO http://bit.ly/2INVqmq via IFTTT

Holiday Housekeeping - Rule Clarification and Reminders We’ve already got one notoriously food-oriented holiday under our belts and more just on the horizon!Just including this post to remind folks of our existing rules and resources, along with a couple of clarifications/wording updates on the former.First, for those who have not yet found our sidebar, we have some handy flairs to filter posts:RequestsNo Request Posts (New)Breakfast RecipesMain Dish RecipesSide Dish RecipesSnack RecipesDessert RecipesCondiment/Sauce RecipesBeverage RecipesVegetarian RecipesVegan RecipesFat Bomb Recipes"Bread" RecipesPizzasNo PizzasRe:sub rules, nothing has really changed, but some of the rules have been re-phrased slightly for clarity and detail. I’ve made the sidebar version more concise, but with links to the wiki for each rule. Please read these before posting. Of particular note:I switched rules #1 and #2 around. Both of these are important, but “you need to include a recipe” is kind o...

Image
Fathead dough using whey protein powder I usually make fathead dough with coconut flour instead of almond flour because it comes out lighter, less dense. But I have a big tub of whey protein isolate that I was thinking about using for fathead instead of flour. Before I risk wasting other ingredients if it turns out to be a major fail, I thought I’d check here first. Anyone tried this? How was it? Taste, texture etc. from KETO http://bit.ly/2vfCkxP via IFTTT
